Community Counseling Center assists people living with HIV/AIDS and/or Hepatitis C in developing coping skills that emphasize social, psychological, and overall wellness. Counseling is provided to those who are living with HIV/AIDS and/or HCV, as well as those affected. Case Management is available for those needing eligibility assistance for Ryan White and HOPWA. Services are provided in a safe and sensitive manner.




FIRST STOP – This group is intended for individuals new to the Las Vegas area, new to CCC, and/or newly diagnosed with HIV. It is intended to help clients find their way to services and support offered within the agency and the community. Psychosocial support and case management services are available, as well as referrals for assessments and other needs.

EMPOWERMENT – This group provides a wide variety of activities intended to engage individuals in social, creative, education, and therapeutic environments. Each week will address a different topic/theme, and a snack or light lunch is provided. Clients are also able to receive referrals to case managers, counselors, or other assistance as needed.

JUDGMENT – This women-specific group dedicates half to learning the art of dance from a local famed choreographer and half to a variety of topics ranging from medication/treatment adherence, mental health, stigma, advocacy, politics, makeovers, and more. Clients must be Ryan White-eligible to attend.

MENTALITY – This group focuses on the emotional and physical health concerns of men living with HIV and serves as a safe and supportive environment for men of all backgrounds where they may share their own unique perspectives and MENtalities. Topics include healthy living, coping skills, stress management, HIV 101, and peer support.


SOMOS (Spanish)

This group provides a safe and welcoming place for Spanish speaking/bilingual individuals to come together to support one another and share an open dialogue relevant to issues that affect their daily lives. The group is open to adults ages 18 and over and serves as a unique community resource where participants can meet others from similar cultural and linguistic backgrounds who may also share similar life experiences. Participants in the group are all given a chance to share openly with one another not only their personal struggles, but also their goals and accomplishments, whereby all may learn from one other in a supportive and compassionate setting.
